Creative Me is designed to encourage participants to express their thoughts and feelings through creativity. Participants learn creative techniques to express themselves such as painting, drawing, charcoaling and craft. This class encourages personal and emotional expression while connecting with likeminded young people.
Through artistic expression, participants can link difficult emotions and feelings in a non-verbal way. These sessions promote self-exploration, helping young people understand their identity and values. They encourage communication, promoted by a supportive environment. Creating with others provide a sense of belonging and connection, crucial for mental well-being.
