Child & Family Counselling In Perth
Child and family counselling provides children and teenagers with a safe and unbiased space to express their thoughts, challenges, and stressors. It allows young individuals to work through their struggles with a trained counsellor to learn healthy thinking patterns for future resilience. Child counselling can be especially helpful for young people facing family challenges, troubles with school or exams, and other emotional factors, including anxiety.
Counselling for children and teens between the ages of 5 and 18 allows young people to develop more robust mental responses to struggles they may encounter throughout their childhood and lean on these tools into adulthood. Teaching healthy coping mechanisms and emotional responses equips children with the tools to gain confidence and positive self-esteem.
