
James approaches therapy in a collaborative way that is tailored to each client’s individual goals. He is experienced in working across the lifespan with a broad range of mental health, relationship, and work-related problems.
James has worked in the disability sector for several years and enjoys helping individuals with disability reach their potential and live fulfilling lives. He also has strong experience working with children with developmental disabilities including ASD and ADHD, and supporting their families to overcome challenges that come with these diagnoses.
His therapeutic work integrates components of cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
