Jodie has completed a Bachelor in Psychology, Criminology and Justice which took her into working with young people in Juvenile Justice for a couple of years. Jodie then took 3 years off to travel the world and live in other countries, it was in this time away Jodie realised that she wanted to continue to work with young people, however now in a more holistic light. This allows them the space for them to find out who they are, support them with self healing tools and empower them to be themselves no matter what. This then took Jodie to become a qualified Standing Strong Facilitator and Youth coach, where she has been facilitating since 2019.
Outside of facilitating Jodie is a holistic counsellor for young people and a yoga and meditation teacher. Jodie is currently completing a masters in holistic counselling and is extremely honoured to be now offering a youth coaching service too.
“It is an absolute honour to be able to support young people as they navigate through life’s challenges and give them the space to step into their power of who they are and all they are capable of. Being able to offer them support to find tools that they can take into life with them and remind them of who they uniquely are, is what I believe to be the most important parts of their life.”
