As we all know, the teenage years are some of the most stressful and confusing times of our lives. There are so many factors contributing to the way teens feel from their school environment, friendships, family life, to the biological changes going on in their bodies. Dr Vanessa Thiele I am a Psychologist, Health Coach, former Personal Trainer and Kung Fu instructor. I also have two little ones at home, and between all the nappy changes and toddler tantrums I like to write and fantasise about wearing nice clothes again. I believe with absolute conviction that every single one of us has the potential to be amazing and have a fulfilling and fantastic life. All we need is the right guidance, knowledge and support along our own personal journey. Life certainly isn’t easy, especially for teenagers. I had so many awkward and embarrassing moments growing up that it’s almost hard to know where to start, but one that stands out in my mind was the time I accidentally did something really terrible

Girls Standing Strong

On Saturday 31st January 2015 we celebrated our Standing Strong Total Wellness Club for Girls VIP Party with all our past participants. It was a very special chance for all the girls to come back together and try our new classes which will be launching on Monday 9th February. We were happy to receive the big tick of approval from both the girls and parents and can’t wait to officially open our doors at our Open Day on Sunday 7th February. The VIP Party could not have been complete without a little camera action so we made sure we had our video guy (Jamie) ready to capture all the special moments. We all know how to breathe, right? It’s simple, we inhale and we exhale, it comes naturally. It’s just something we do right? Mmmm… There is actually a lot more to it than that. Breathing is an incredible functions we have to energize, cleanse, detoxify and feed our bodies, however, unfortunately many of us no longer breathe as deeply, and efficiently as we should.
